This study aimed to examine the level of leadership skills among kindergarten principals in Palestine based on the principles of Love-Based Leadership Theory. A descriptive-analytical approach was adopted as it best suits the study’s objectives. Data were collected using a researcher-developed questionnaire administered to a sample of (364) kindergarten teachers, selected through a random cluster sampling technique. The results revealed that the overall level of leadership skills among kindergarten principals, according to the principles of Love-Based Leadership Theory, was moderate, with a mean score of (2.91). The ranking of leadership skills in descending order was: human skills, cognitive (intellectual) skills, administrative skills, technical skills, and self-leadership skills. The findings also indicated statistically significant differences (α ≤ 0.05) in teachers’ perceptions of the principals’ leadership skills according to educational qualification, favoring those with higher degrees; years of experience, favoring those with ten or more years.
